Chapter 12: Disney's challenges in corporate innovations includes high costs such as operational costs in theme parks with repairs, lighting, sound and visual effects as well as costs of setting up firework shows. There is sometimes resistance to change as employees might resist in changing traditional process, there are challenges as well in adapting to cultural and global market dynamics such as international preferences. Disney has to manage pitfalls by utilizing risk management which strategically assess the risks involved into adventuring into new ideas. There needs to be sustainability to balance the social, governance and environmental responsibilities. Disney has been succeeding as a result to addressing these challenges.
