Focus
Disney focuses on differentiation which means creating differences in the products and services that they sell compared to other competitors. Disney has to provide unique products and services to gain a competitive advantage.

Disney takes advantage of differentiation by:
Having strong innovative content creation: through producing high-quality movies, and animation classics, as well as customizable theme park attractions.
Disney has strong branding and provides a great and memorable experience, and connects with customers hearts and emotions with their movies.
Disney has a diversified portfolio, not only do they produce movies, but offers streaming services, Disney merchandise, toys, clothing and theme park experiences.
Disney also owns exclusive properties such as Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars which stands out compared to other competitors.
